I started studying Mathematics at the University of Vienna in 2005. Since August 2011, I am working with Claus Rueffler on my diploma thesis in the fields of mathematical ecology and adaptive dynamics. In particular, I am interested in the evolutionary dynamics of structured populations. Besides, I studied Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at the University of Vienna and I am doing my PhD at the Department of English, where I am working in the field of evolutionary linguistics as a member of the NatSIDE research group.
