This is the home page of the Mathematics and Biosciences Group at the Faculty of Mathematics and the Max F. Perutz Laboratories of the University of Vienna, funded by two independent grants from the WWTF to Joachim Hermisson and Claus Rueffler.

Our research interest is the mathematical and computational analysis of evolutionary processes, on the molecular, genetic and ecological level.

There is an assistant position to fill (senior postdoch, 6 years) for someone working on evolutionary theory / modeling. More information can be found here.
